Passion for Promarkers – Cool Aqua and Pastel Pink

This week’s Passion for Promarkers challenge is to use the colours Cool Aqua and Pastel Pink to colour the image on your card.  As it was my turn to choose the colours and the additional twist, I decided on a sketch, and designed one that I hope you will all enjoy playing with.  I used one of the precious Whiff of Joy angels for my image, and the sentiment on the card is also by WOJ.  All the papers are by Papermania, and the card is Bazzill Bling. Scroll down for the Promarker colouring recipe.

Our sponsors this week are Daisy May Designs, and they are offering five sheets of downloads to the lucky winner.

Last of the Sneak Peeks

I think I may have been a little confuzzled about the Elzybells release date yesterday; that will teach me to blog at stupid o’clock, won’t it?! Anyway, today is the day you have all been waiting for, but I have my last card to show you before you head over to the online store to purchase all the lovely new stamps.

I’ve used the pretty Strawberry Picker image again, but this time I’ve coloured her totally with Promarkers.  The gorgeous paper is by Crafts-Too, and I’ve added a border made with the watermelon stamp from the Mini Messages Summertime set.  I used Nestabilities to die-cut the image, and a Fiskars border punch for the scalloped border.  The flowers and brad are from my stash.

As I’ve mentioned, this is my last new release for the design team, but I’m sure that it’s not goodbye, but ‘au revoir’, as I’m sure to see you all when I’m stalking the Elzybells blog and shop! I do hope that you will still call in now and again to see what I’ve been making with my collection of Elzy stamps!

Life’s a Beach

This week’s theme at Tilda and Friends is ‘Life’s a Beach’, and here is my ATC. I have used 3 Magnolia stamps, which were masked, then stamped in layers to make the little scene. The image is coloured with Promarkers, with a touch of Stickles glitter glue on Tilda’s wings and the water ripples, and I’ve  added the computer-generated text to the scene. Come and join us in our challenge this week, and have some fun on the beach, despite the dreadful weather that we are having in the UK at the moment!

Elzybells Release Day!

Here are my penultimate sneak peek cards, and sad to say, these will be my last release peeks for the Elzybells design team.  I would like to thank Elizabeth for the opportunity to play with her stamps for a whole year – it’s been so much fun! Of course, I will continue to support Elzybells Art Stamps, but only as a fan from now on. The best of luck to the DT girls who are staying on, and to all at Elzybells!

Here are three more cards that I made using the Mini Messages Summertime set. Thanks for taking a peek!

Don’t forget that you can purchase the new stamps from the online store tomorrow. See you then with my last card!

Second Elzybells Peek

Elzybells sneakpeek label

Here is today’s peek from the new Elzybells release. I have two cards to show you this time, both from the Mini Messages Summertime clear set.  I love Elizabeth’s clear sets; not only do they have cute mini images, but also lovely little sentiments.  This new set is perfect for summer cards.

I thought that this barbeque image was just right for invitations to summer parties.  I used Daisy Bucket paper for the background, and some Prima flowers to embellish it a little, but as it’s a small image I didn’t want to overpower it, so I’ve kept the card simple.  I’ve coloured the images on both cards with Promarkers as usual.

Elzybells Sneak Peek 9

I used the miniature slice of water melon (mmm!) on my second card. Again, I’ve kept it fairly simple, as I didn’t want to overwhelm the image, and used some DCWV paper, and Bazzill Bling card to show off the stamp.  The only other embellishments are some scalloped paper ribbon, and tiny pink pearls.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed today’s sneak peeks. Do call in again tomorrow to see some more cards! Don’t forget that tomorrow is release day at the online store.

Passion for Promarkers – Lime and Rose Pink

This week’s challenge colours are Lime and Rose Pink, chosen by Ida, and I have to say that this is one of my particular favourite combinations. We are very lucky to be sponsored by Papirloftet this week, and here is a picture of the splendid prize they have for the winner.

Papirloftet Goodies

My card is made with some wonderful goodies that Papirloftet kindly gave to all the design team members.  The image is by Elisabeth Bell, and is available from Funky Kits, and I have coloured her with Promarkers, of course!  The colouring recipe can be found below the card.

Elzybells Summer Release Sneak Peeks

 Elzybells sneakpeek label

Welcome to the latest Elzybells Sneak Peeks! I’ve used the delicious ‘Strawberry Picking’ girl on my card today; isn’t she gorgeous? As usual with Elzybells stamps, this image lends itself so well to paper piecing, and I’ve used the same Basic Grey paper as the background to piece the girl’s dress.  The rest of the image is coloured with Promarkers. The ‘Happiness’ sentiment stamp is also one of Elzybells new stamps, as is the ‘Petit Strawberry’. All the papers used are from the Basic Grey Euphoria collection, and the textured card is by American Crafts. The scalloped border is die-cut with a Martha Stewart punch.

Elzybells Sneak Peek 8

The new stamps will be on sale from Wednesday 23rd from the Elzybells on-line shop, but come back tomorrow to see my next sneak peek!

Tilda and Friends Recipe

I’m sorry that my ATC is a little late today. I tried to load it onto the Tilda and Friends blog last night, but Blogger didn’t want to cooperate!

The theme this week is a recipe – 1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments – simples!  The image is a Greetings Farm fairy stamp, which I’ve coloured with Promarkers, with a touch of glitter on her wings, dress and also around the text, although this is hardly noticeable in the photo.  The papers are by Crafts-Too, and embellies were a magazine freebie. I made the words on the computer.

Thanks for popping in to have a peep at my cards; it is much appreciated.

Passion for Promarkers – Ruby and Gold

The Passion for Promarkers challenge colours this week are Ruby and Gold, and the added twist is to add gems to your card. This gorgeous combination reminds me of shades of autumn, so I made an appropriate card. The image is by Hanglar & Stanglar, and I used papers by Stampin’ Up and Crafts-Too. The embossing on the red card was done with a Cuttlebug folder, and the scalloped frame is cut with Nestabilities.  The lovely scallop border is made with a Martha Stewart punch, and the gems are from my stash.  Scroll down to see the Promarker colouring recipe under the card.

Our sponsors this week are Emerald Crafts, who are offering a £10 voucher to the winner of this challenge, so why not have a go?  Remember that you must use Promarkers in the colours stated, and add that week’s extra element to your card, to qualify for the prize.

Tilda and Friends – No People!

This week  Tilda and Friends challenge you NOT to use any people on your ATC!  I’ve used an adorable little monkey image from C.C. Designs on my card, coloured, as usual, with Promarkers. The circles and scalloped circles are made with Nestibilities, and paper and brads are from my stash. Why not get out your cute animals, birds or bees stamps, and come and make an ATC with us this week?!
