Passion for ProMarkers – Anything Goes!

Here I am again with my very  first card for our very exciting new challenge blog Passion for ProMarkers.  The theme for this week is ‘Anything Goes’ so I’ve made a card using some of my favourite colours.  I’m sure most of you will recognise the lovely WOJ stamp, and I’ve coloured her with Promarkers (of course!) in the following colours:

Face:  Ivory, Blush, Pastel Pink.

Hair:  Sandstone, using the colour more heavily for the darker areas.

Clothes:  Meadow Green, Apple, Pearl Blue, China Blue.

Flowers:  Ivory, Satin, Meadow Green, Marsh Green.

Wings:  Ivory, Vanilla.

The Designer Paper is by K & Co, and the sentiment is by WOJ.  I used cardstock by Bazzill, and the ribbons and flowers are from my stash.

Have you checked out the fabby prizes on offer this week? I hope these will tempt you into entering out very first challenge at Passion for ProMarkers.  Thank you for popping in to look at my card, and don’t forget to visit the other members of the Design Team (all the links are in my sidebar) to have a peep at their beautiful creations too.

Promarkers Week 1 35%

Post-it Notes Holder

When I posted about my ‘Valentine’s Treat’ last week, the lovely Annie was kind enough to leave a comment, saying that she had made something similar, only it was a cover for post-it notes, rather than for a choccie bar.  Well, I had to try that idea out – hope you don’t mind Annie? I adjusted my cover measurements, so that it would fit a post-it pad, and decorated it with one of the gorgeous Whiff of Joy images, and voilà, the perfect little gift for a friend, or to pop into a RAK package.  I’m on my way to being addicted to making these, as I have made three more since I made this one!

Card for a Man

This card was made for a swap on the theme of ‘cards for men’.  I discovered that I didn’t have many stamps specifically for men, but I think this Gruffie bear fits the bill.  He reminds me of my DH, who is quite fond of napping!  I’m not sure where the paper is from, but the Gruffie is by House Mouse, and the sentiment is by Whiff of Joy.  The green card is Bazzill Bling, and I coloured the image with Promarkers.
