Passion for Promarkers – Two Images

Hello Passion for Promarkers fans! The challenge for this week is to use two stamped images on your card. This time we are sponsored by Letraset, who will  be awarding our winner a set of five Promarkers.

The design team is joined this week by two very talented new members, Emma and Tracy – welcome girls!  To celebrate the occasion they will each be giving an extra prize of  a Promarkers Stamping Kit to one lucky person, so don’t forget to check out their blogs and leave a comment – you have to be in it to win it!

I used two images by Sugar Nellie on my card:  Hamish in his woolly jumper, and Angus the dog; both can be found at Funky Kits.  I stamped Angus first, then masked him before stamping Hamish slightly behind him.  The gorgeous designer papers are by My Mind’s Eye, and the peacock cardstock is  Bazzill Bling. Scroll down to see which Promarkers I used to colour my images.

Passion for Promarkers – Sandstone and Pearl Blue

This week, our sponsors at Passion for Promarkers are The DigiStamp Boutique, and not only is Sally-Ann offering our winner digistamps to the value of £10 from the boutique, but she also very kindly gave all the DT some stamps to play with!

My card features Lilly, one of the gorgeous girl characters from The DigiStamp Boutique.  I coloured her in this week’s colours, Sandstone and Pearl Blue, chosen by one of our lovely guest designers, Caroline. My colouring recipe can be found beneath the card as usual.  The papers are by Papermania and Stampin’ Up, cardstock is Bazzzill Bling, and the sentiment is computer-generated.

Passion for Promarkers week 14

Our challenge sponsors at Passion for Promarkers this week are the wonderful folk at Letraset, who, as you know, produce the fabulous Promarkers.  They are offering a prize of a set of five pens to the lucky winner.

ProMarkerInfo

This week’s colours were chosen by the lovely Sue, and she has given you a choice of four: Lavender, Lilac, Amethyst and Aubergine, and you must use at least two of these colours on your card.  As these are also some of my favourite shades, I’m using all four!

The image is by Hanglar and Stanglar, and is coloured with Promarkers, of course! The background paper is by Paperpizzaz, and the floral one was a magazine freebie.  The purple card is Bazzill Bling, and I cut the mat with a Nestabilities label set.  The scalloped punches and sentiment are by Stampin’ Up, and the hydrangea flowers are by Prima. Please scroll down to see my colouring recipe.

Passion for Promarkers – Cocoa and Rose Pink

The challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week is to use the shades Cocoa and Rose Pink as the main colours on your chosen image.

Our sponsors this week are Yellow Moon/Baker Ross, who are offering a prize of a £10 gift voucher to spend on any of the craft supplies and children’s crafts at Baker Ross.

This is what our lovely DT member Debbi has to say about Baker Ross:

“This is a great place to buy crafty stuff for kids – ideal to keep them occupied during the duller or wetter days. I’ve bought loads from here, they also have a terrific selection of craft blanks e.g. wee gift boxes, pencil boxes bags etc. And I’m going to be really cheeky here and ask you all a favour – if any of you place an order at Yellow Moon, when you checkout there is a page that will ask you for a source code so that the commission on your order goes to a charity or group. As many of you know I’m the secretary/treasurer and co-founder of Extra Special Parents which is a support charity for parents and carers of children with special needs. Our source code is SSH10729 and I would really appreciate it if you could use that so that ESP receives the commission.”

Here is my card, and as usual the Promarker recipe is below the card.  I have used one of the fab Leanne Ellis designed stamps by Sugar Nellie, which are available from Funky Kits.  The papers are by Papermania and Basic Grey, and I’ve embossed a piece of Brown Bazzill Bling card with one of the latest Cuttlebug folders called ‘Victoria’. The sentiment, oval and scalloped oval punches are by Stampin’ Up.

Passion for Promarkers – Cool Aqua and Pastel Pink

This week’s Passion for Promarkers challenge is to use the colours Cool Aqua and Pastel Pink to colour the image on your card.  As it was my turn to choose the colours and the additional twist, I decided on a sketch, and designed one that I hope you will all enjoy playing with.  I used one of the precious Whiff of Joy angels for my image, and the sentiment on the card is also by WOJ.  All the papers are by Papermania, and the card is Bazzill Bling. Scroll down for the Promarker colouring recipe.

Our sponsors this week are Daisy May Designs, and they are offering five sheets of downloads to the lucky winner.

Second Elzybells Peek

Elzybells sneakpeek label

Here is today’s peek from the new Elzybells release. I have two cards to show you this time, both from the Mini Messages Summertime clear set.  I love Elizabeth’s clear sets; not only do they have cute mini images, but also lovely little sentiments.  This new set is perfect for summer cards.

I thought that this barbeque image was just right for invitations to summer parties.  I used Daisy Bucket paper for the background, and some Prima flowers to embellish it a little, but as it’s a small image I didn’t want to overpower it, so I’ve kept the card simple.  I’ve coloured the images on both cards with Promarkers as usual.

Elzybells Sneak Peek 9

I used the miniature slice of water melon (mmm!) on my second card. Again, I’ve kept it fairly simple, as I didn’t want to overwhelm the image, and used some DCWV paper, and Bazzill Bling card to show off the stamp.  The only other embellishments are some scalloped paper ribbon, and tiny pink pearls.

Elzybells Sneak Peek 10

I hope that you’ve enjoyed today’s sneak peeks. Do call in again tomorrow to see some more cards! Don’t forget that tomorrow is release day at the online store.

Passion for Promarkers – Cinnamon and Pumpkin

The third challenge at Passion for Promarkers is to use the colours chosen by Denise, Cinnamon and Pumpkin, to colour the image on your card. The prize for this week is a £10 voucher donated by Hotshot Craft.

PFP Pumpkin and Cinnamon 35%

I have used another of the delightful Gorjuss Girls on my card, and she is available from Funky Kits.  The papers used are by Daisy Bucket, and the cardstock (Close to Cocoa) is by Stampin’ Up, and Bazill Bling.  The flowers, ribbon and brads are from my stash.

Here is the promarker recipe for my colouring:

Skin:  Ivory, Blush and Pastel Pink.

Hair:  Cinnamon, Cocoa, and Umber.

Coat, hat and boots:  Cinnamon and Pumpkin, shaded with Cocoa, and Apricot.

Dress: Lime with Pumpkin trim.

Fox:  Pumpkin, Apricot and Ivory, with Satin for the tip of his tail.

The other Design Team girls have made some some fabulous samples, as always, so why not pop along to the challenge blog and enjoy the eye candy?!  We may even tempt you to join us in the challenge for a chance to win the wonderful prize this week!

Last Sneak For This Time

 Elzybells sneakpeek label

Sadly, this is my last Elzybells sneak peek for this time. I have used the second Angel Teddy on my card. She’s a very special little bear, isn’t she? Again, I’ve coloured her with Promarkers, with some JoSonja’s Opal Dust here and there to give her some sparkle. The very pretty backing paper is by Prima, and the aqua cardstock that I used is Bazzill Bling. I added some stamped scrolls by Autumn Leaves, in pink ink, to tie the background and the image together, and used a pink taffeta ribbon to embellish the card further. The word is die-cut using the Cuttlebug with the ‘Olivia’ alphabet dies, and I’ve added a touch of sparkle to that too.

Thank you for looking at my peeks this week. I hope you have enjoyed the cards as much as I’ve enjoyed making them to show you.  Don’t forget that today is release day at the Elzybell’s online shop, and visit the other DT girls for inspiring projects using the new stamps.

Elzybells Challenge #20

The theme for the Elzybells Challenge this fortnight is to make a card with multiple folds.  What a dilemma!  There are quite a few popular card designs with more than one fold, but in the end I chose to use the ‘Joy Fold’, instructions for which can be found on Splitcoast Stampers.  I used two shades of Bazzill Bling cardstock and papers by K & Co on my card. The image is Elzybells’ Flower Girl, and I’ve coloured her with Promarkers. I used my Nestabilities dies to cut out the mat for the image, and the flowers are by Prima.

Here is the inside of my card.

Elizabeth has a brilliant tutorial on the technique for using Koh-i-noor pencils on the Elzybell Blog, so why not pop along and have a peep?

Elzybells Challenge # 19

Elzybells challenge #19 is a fab sketch from the lovely Rachel, and here is my interpretation. I used the  ‘Kitty Flowers’ stamp on my card – isn’t she beautiful?!  I coloured her with Promarkers, and used a double-sided paper by Stampin’ Up for the background. The various blue cardstocks are Bazzill and Bazzill Bling, and I’ve embossed the circle with a Cuttlebug folder and cut it out with Nestabilities dies. Lastly, the blue grosgrain ribbon is from my stash. Do pop along to the Elzybells blog and have a peek at all the gorgeous Design Team cards for this fortnight!
