Pocket Full of Posies – Challenge #3

Welcome to the third Pocket Full of Posies challenge! This week we are being sponsored by Di’s Digi Downloads. Di has some fab downloads, so do go and have a nosey at her site. It was my turn to choose the theme for the challenge this time, and I chose the colour combination of Aqua and Peach.

Here is my card. For the image, I decided on one of the pretty, older, stamps from Sugar Nellie. This one hadn’t been inked a lot, so I thought that it was time to give her another airing. She is coloured with Promarkers as usual, and the floral paper is by My Mind’s Eye. I’m afraid that I can’t remember the origin of the other paper. The cardstock is by Bazzill. The large and tiny peach flowers are handmade, using Tim Holtz’s ‘Grunge Flowers’ die, and the aqua ones are from Prima’s e-line collection.  They have all been spritzed with glimmer mist, and lightly touched with stickles just around the petal edges.

Thanks for taking a peek at my card!  I do hope you will be tempted to join us for the new challenge.

Shady Lady

Shady Lady is the theme for this week’s challenge at Tilda and Friends.  My interpretation of this was to use shades of one colour on my ATC, and in this case I chose blue.  I coloured Paris Tilda using blue shades of Tim Holtz’s Distress Inks, plus hair and skin tones too, of course!  The DP is by HOTP, and the charms are from my stash.

Do visit us at Tilda and Friends to see more fabulous examples of  Shady Ladies by the Design Team. We would also love to see your interpretations of this theme.
