Passion for Promarkers – Cool Aqua and Cocoa

This week’s challenge at Passion for Promarkers is to use the colours Cool Aqua and Cocoa on your image. The lovely Sam is our Guest Designer for this week, and our sponsors are Sugar Nellie, who are giving our lucky winner two of their gorgeous stamps.

For my card, I used a Magnolia stamp, and the papers are by HOTP and Colorbok.  The chocolate card is by SU, and I used my Martha Stewart Doiley punch to add some detail to the layout.  The mini flowers were made with a small cosmos punch, and some flower brads from my stash.

Promarkers used:

Skin: Ivory, Blush, Pale Pink.

Hair: Vanilla, Pastel Yellow, Tan.

Clothes, Boots and Hat: Cocoa, Henna, Cool Aqua, Sky Blue, Grey Green.

Wings:  Cool Aqua, Blender, Glitter Glue.

I hope you like my card this week! Thank you for taking a peek; your comments are always much appreciated. Don’t forget to pop along to visit the other members of the Design Team, who have some splendid cards to show you.  Links, as always, are in my sidebar.

Elzybells Sketch Challenge

The latest challenge at Elzybells is a sketch by the very talented Michelle.  Here is my interpretation of the sketch.  I used the very cute Spring Blooms stamp for my image, and coloured this with Promarkers.  The papers are by SU, and all the embellishments are from my stash.  Thank you for the lovely sketch, Michelle; it was a joy to work with!  If you’d like to see some gorgeous eye-candy, check out what the other members of the Design Team have done with the sketch.  The links to their blogs can be found on my sidebar.

Tea for Two

elzybells-sneakpeek-label1

For today’s sneak peek, I’m using Elzybells new ‘Tea’ stamp set.  The pieces come individually, and I’ve stamped them using the masking technique to make a little scene. The lovely sentiment is also from Elzybells. I’ve tried to give this card a nostalgic look with the pretty Lily Kate papers by Basic Grey, and used fresh spring shades of green, blue and pale yellow for the colouring and matting.  The grosgrain ribbon is by SU, the cardstock is Bazzill Bling, and the flower is from my stash.

More Yummy Delights…

Here are two more cards from the Elzybells Just Desserts set.  Firstly, a card with some good advice for a dieting pal! Once again I used some SU papers, and the turquoise card is Bazzill Bling.  The cookie girl is delightful, isn’t she? And isn’t the sentiment just perfect?!  I coloured the image with Promarkers, and cut out the scalloped matting with a Nestabilities die. The brads are from my stash and the flowers are Prima.

I just had to show off these yummy doughnut stamps, also from the Just Desserts set.  They make a scrumptious background, don’t they?  This mini card would make a cute note card, or even a gift tag with a box of cream cakes when visiting a friend, or is that just wishful thinking?!  Apart from the brads by Dovecraft, everything is is made with leftover scraps.

Are you enjoying the latest sneak peeks?  These new stamps are certanly easier on the hips than the real foodie treats would be, aren’t they, so why not indulge yourself?  The latest release will be on sale from the Elzybells online shop from Monday onward.  See you all tomorrow!

Elzybells Just Desserts

Welcome to the first sneak peek of Elzybells ‘Just Desserts’ stamp release . I think that you’ll agree with me that these new stamps are simply scrumptious!  The first of my cards features one of the Elzybells girls enjoying some delicious cakes, with a very appropriate sentiment!  Don’t we all know that the diet always starts tomorrow?!  This image and the yummy doughnuts are from the Just Desserts clear stamp set.  As usual, I coloured the images with Promarkers, and then edged the white cardstock with a pink ink pad.  The papers are by SU, and the coloured card is Bazzill Bling.  The scalloped edge around the image was die-cut with the rectangle Nestabilities set, and the Fiskars Threading Water border punch was used to edge the striped paper.

Elzybells Challenge #14

The latest Elzybells challenge theme is a recipe; you must use a rectangle, two ribbons, and three brads on your card.  I used the very versatile Teddy with Flowers stamp for my card, and coloured the image with Promarkers to match my green and blue colour scheme.  The papers are by SU, the cardstock is by Bazill, and the ribbons and brads are from my stash.
