Passion for Promarkers – In My Garden

Our sponsor for this week’s Passion for Promarkers challenge is Joanna Sheen, who is giving our winner a voucher for £10 to spend in her online shop.

It was my turn to choose the challenge theme for this week, and to write a corresponding tutorial for the colouring. I chose as my theme ‘In My Garden’, using an image from this week’s digi sponsor, DigiStamp Boutique

I will keep this post brief, and just let you read my tute, which explains how I coloured the image, and which Promarker colours I used.  You’ll find the tutorial by scrolling down to my previous post.

In case you were wondering, the lovely designer papers that I used are from the Blueberry Hill collection by Papermania.

Again, I’d like to thank Sally-Ann from the DigiStamp Boutique for letting me use the gorgeous ‘Lizzie with Flowers’ image for my tutorial.

I hope that you all like my card; thanks for taking a peek !  Mxx

Passion for Promarkers – Bright Green and Mango

We have a ultra-zingy colour challenge for you this week at Passion for Promarkers.  You must use Bright Green and Mango on your Promarker-coloured image, a nice bright theme to go with the brighter days!  Our sponsor for this time is Joanna Sheen, who will be giving our winner a set of five Promarkers.

I used a Gorjuss Girl image on my card, and found the perfect papers to coordinate with the colours in the ‘Gypsy’ 6″x6″ pad by Basic Grey. The sentiment stamp is by Hobby Arts, and everything else is from my stash. Please scroll down to see my Promarker colouring recipe.

Promarker Recipe:

Skin: Ivory, Blush, Peach.
Hair: Tan, Caramel, Chestnut.
Dress and tights: Bright Green, Lime Zest, Mango, Peach, Oatmeal.
Bird: Bright Green, Lime Zest, Mango, Oatmeal.
Wall: Oatmeal faded with Blender.

Thank you for taking a peek at my card this week!

Passion for Promarkers – Pastel Green and Blossom

It’s another gorgeous colour theme at Passion for Promarkers this week.  Our sponsor is Joanna Sheen, who is giving one very lucky winner a gift voucher for £10 to spend in her online shop.  Just imagine how many Promarkers you could add to your stash with that!

I used a very pretty image by The Greetings Farm, called Madelynn, on my card, and the papers are by Colorbok.  As I didn’t have a flower in the right shade, I coloured a very pale pink one with my Blossom Promarker, and added three  small paper roses (from Hobbycrafts) to the centre.  The swirl die-cuts are made with a Whale of a Punch from EK Success. As usual, scroll down to see my colouring recipe.

Promarkers Used:

Skin:  Ivory, Blush, Pastel Pink.
Hair:  Vanilla, Caramel.
Coat and Hat:  Tea Green, Pastel Green, Blossom, Pink Carnation.
Flower, Scarf and Socks:  Blossom, Pink Carnation.
Shoes:  Tea Green, Grey Green.

Thank you for taking a look at my card this week.

Here is my project for this week. I made a small (4″x4″) Christmas giftbox, which should be perfect to hold some choccies or handmade notelets for a friend, or for your child’s teacher.

I’ve used one of the lovely Christmas Magna stamps from Sugar Nellie, and the sentiment stamp is by Stampin’ Up. The papers are by DCWV, and the base of the box is made with red Bazzill cardstock.

It’s Nearly Time…

Just one more sleep until Passion for ProMarkers opens its doors for the first challenge!  I hope that you’ll all be popping over to the blog  to see what we’ve been up  to.  We have some very generous sponsors for our first challenge, with some AMAZING prizes, which I’m sure will tempt you to enter. The challenge is to use any colour of Promarker on your card, but you must use at least one – how simple is that?!  Also, as the prizes are so fabulous this week, we would like you to enter a card made for this challenge only.  When you see the list of prizes, you’ll see why we’ve had to set a few restrictions this time.  We are expecting a lot of entries, and we’d like you to show off your talents and make a unique card.

Our sponsors and prizes for this week are:

Angela from Angel Crafts, who is offering 3 beautiful sets of ribbons.

Joanna Sheen, who is donating a whole set of Promarkers, yes, that’s 92 colours!

Tracy from Dies to Die For who is offering 2 wonderful stamps.

Cute Daisy May Digi stamps have 5 steets of digi stamps for you

I hope that will tempt you all to join in the fun tomorrow; don’t forget you’ll only need to use at least one Promarker pen, and there are no restrictions as to stamps or designs used.

I would love it if you would pop back here to have a peek at my first card for this challenge – see you then!
