Passion for Promarkers – Bright Green and Mango

We have a ultra-zingy colour challenge for you this week at Passion for Promarkers.  You must use Bright Green and Mango on your Promarker-coloured image, a nice bright theme to go with the brighter days!  Our sponsor for this time is Joanna Sheen, who will be giving our winner a set of five Promarkers.

I used a Gorjuss Girl image on my card, and found the perfect papers to coordinate with the colours in the ‘Gypsy’ 6″x6″ pad by Basic Grey. The sentiment stamp is by Hobby Arts, and everything else is from my stash. Please scroll down to see my Promarker colouring recipe.

Passion for Promarkers – Tulip Yellow and Baby Pink

We have another colour theme, with a twist, for you this week at Passion for Promarkers.  The chosen colours are Tulip Yellow and Baby Pink, and you must add some element of sewing, whether it’s done on your machine, done by hand, or faux stitches.

Our sponsors this week are Craft Obsessions, who are giving our winner a wonderful prize of a mixed-media bracket album, by Fancy Pants Designs – see below for a picture of the prize.

Here is my card for this challenge, and as you can see I’ve been playing with my sewing machine! The background paper is by Crafty Individuals, and the image is a Gorjuss Girl, available from Funky Kits.  Scroll down for my colouring recipe.

Thanks again for looking at my card, and for your comments.

Gorjuss Snow

I thought that I would show you another of my recent Gorjuss Girl cards.  This one was made for a challenge on Docrafts, and the theme was ‘Snow’.  As we were well into the new year, I decided to make a snowy birthday card – perfect for a birthday at this time of year! It was my first easel card too – I know, I’m always late in catching on to these new trends, but I get there in the end!  The lovely papers that I used are by Craft Creations, and the image is coloured with Promarkers.

Passion for Promarkers – Girls, Girls, Girls!

We have a fab challenge for all you girlie girls at Passion for Promarkers this week!  The theme is ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’, and it’s a good excuse to go wild, and play with all your lovely pink stash – well, that was my excuse anyway!

Our sponsors for this challenge are Letraset, who are giving a prize of a set of five Promarkers to our lucky winner.

I think that many of you will agree that it would be hard to get more girlie than the luscious Gorjuss Girls by Sugar Nellie!  I chose this gorgeous little fairy girl for my card and, of course, her dress just had to be pink. As I love to use green with pink,  I couldn’t resist adding the pink and green combo papers by Craftwork Cards to my stash.  Although they are basically Christmas papers, I think they also work well at other times of the year.  Scroll down for my Promarker recipe.

Promarkers used:

Skin: Ivory, Blush, Pastel Pink.

Hair: Chestnut, Umber.

Dress: Pale Pink, Cocktail Pink, Baby Pink.

Wings: Meadow Green, Leaf Green, with Glitter Glue.

Tights: Green and Pink combination as above.

Thanks for dropping by; I always look forward to your visit and any comments you may leave.

Passion for Promarkers – Cinnamon and Pumpkin

The third challenge at Passion for Promarkers is to use the colours chosen by Denise, Cinnamon and Pumpkin, to colour the image on your card. The prize for this week is a £10 voucher donated by Hotshot Craft.

PFP Pumpkin and Cinnamon 35%

I have used another of the delightful Gorjuss Girls on my card, and she is available from Funky Kits.  The papers used are by Daisy Bucket, and the cardstock (Close to Cocoa) is by Stampin’ Up, and Bazill Bling.  The flowers, ribbon and brads are from my stash.

Here is the promarker recipe for my colouring:

Skin:  Ivory, Blush and Pastel Pink.

Hair:  Cinnamon, Cocoa, and Umber.

Coat, hat and boots:  Cinnamon and Pumpkin, shaded with Cocoa, and Apricot.

Dress: Lime with Pumpkin trim.

Fox:  Pumpkin, Apricot and Ivory, with Satin for the tip of his tail.

The other Design Team girls have made some some fabulous samples, as always, so why not pop along to the challenge blog and enjoy the eye candy?!  We may even tempt you to join us in the challenge for a chance to win the wonderful prize this week!

Happy St George’s Day!

I’m sorry for not posting my ATC yesterday, but I had a bit of a manic one, and was without the internet for part of the day, but here it is now!

The theme at Tilda and Friends this week is ‘Red and White’, in honour of St. George, the patron saint of England.  I used one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie, coloured appropriately, and a heart button, which I think is an H&S image. The background Bazzill cardstock was embossed with the Swiss Dots folder on the Cuttlebug.  The sentiment stamp is by Elzybells, and the little red flower gems are by Papermania.

If you are feeling a little patriotic today, come and join our challenge, and make a red and white ATC.  There is some great inspiration on the Tilda and Friends blog.

Tilda and Friends – Recipe

Do you love trying out new recipes? Then why not try this one from Tilda and Friends?  Our challenge this week is to use one ribbon, two flowers and three buttons on your ATC.  Here is my ATC, using one of the Gorjuss Girls stamps from Sugar Nellie.  I coloured her with Promarkers, and then cut her out before sticking the image to the base card, which had been covered with HOTP paper.  I added a dusky pink taffeta ribbon, two Prima flowers and three tiny buttons in toning colours.  The sentiment was made on the PC.  I do hope you’ll come and join us in trying out the recipe this week.
