Passion for Promarkers – Marsh Green and Burnt Umber

The theme at Passion for Promarkers this week has been chosen by Barbara, one of our lovely guest DT members for this month, and it is to use the colours Marsh Green and Burnt Umber in the colouring of your image.

Our sponsors once again are the very generous Letraset, who are giving our winner a set of five Promarkers to add to their collection.

Here is my card, and this time I’ve had a brief respite from Christmas, and made a card for a friend, using a stamp designed by the very talented Elisabeth Bell. The sentiment is by Stampin’ Up, and papers and flowers are from my stash.  Scroll down under the card for the Promarker colouring recipe.  Thanks, as always, for visiting and taking a peep at my work.

Blue Christmas

Here is another Christmas card in non-tradional shades of blue.  I chose an Elisabeth Bell stamp, available from Funky Kits, for my focal point.  I matted and layered the coloured image, and placed it on the card so that it would look like the reflection in a bauble (that was the idea anyway!).  The backing paper is again by Dovecraft. I have added a panel of white cardstock, embossed with the Cuttlebug Snowflake folder, and lightly stippled with a brush and blue chalk ink, to the card.  The snowflake embellishment is made up of a die-cut, made with a Cuttlebug die, and two fabric snowflakes from my stash.  I glittered the central brad so that it would also look frosted.
