Gorjuss Snow

I thought that I would show you another of my recent Gorjuss Girl cards.  This one was made for a challenge on Docrafts, and the theme was ‘Snow’.  As we were well into the new year, I decided to make a snowy birthday card – perfect for a birthday at this time of year! It was my first easel card too – I know, I’m always late in catching on to these new trends, but I get there in the end!  The lovely papers that I used are by Craft Creations, and the image is coloured with Promarkers.

Passion for Promarkers – Week 13

This week’s challenge at Passion for Promarkers is to use the colours Prussian and Pumpkin, along with the ‘Halloween’ theme. Our sponsors for this week are Hot Shot Craft, who are offering our winner a £10 gift voucher to spend in their fab online store.

Here is my card, which is made with a digi download from Sandra Dry Digi Stamps.  The cobweb stamp is by Magnolia, and the papers that I’ve used are by Craft Creations and American Crafts.  The cardstock is by Bazzill, and I’ve embossed the black card with a Cuttlebug folder.  The ‘Happy Haunting’ sentiment was made on the computer, and punched out with a Stampin’ Up punch, then framed with a scalloped oval, which was also made with a punch by Stampin’ Up.  My Promarker recipe is shown under the card.

Elzybells – Challenge Four

It’s time for another challenge from Elzybells! This time ‘Inchies’ is the theme, and as you can see I’ve used my inchies to decorate the side of my Christmas card. I used the Robins set, plus an Elzybells snowflake stamp, to decorate them. They are coloured with Promarkers, and edged with white embossing powder to give the effect of snow.  I sliced approximately 1.5 inches from the front of the card before attaching the DP (which is by Craft Creations).  I finished the shortened edge with Martha Stewart’s doiley punch, and added a strip of blue Bazzill Bling card to match the piece under the inchies. The main image is Elzybells Eskimo with Robin, coloured with Promarkers, with a chalked background. I layered this onto a scalloped circle, cut from a Nestabilities die with the Cuttlebug. I used the Elzybells Warm and Snuggly sentiment, matted onto blue Bazzill Bling, at the bottom, and added the snowflake flowers to embellish the card.
