Passion for Promarkers – Gina’s Sketch

This week Gina has designed a lovely sketch for us, and you can use Promarkers of any colour on your card.  On this occasion the Promarker Challenge is sponsored by The Secret Crafter, who are giving our lucky winner a set of six Promarkers to add to their collection!

Here is my card, with the colouring recipe underneath as usual.  I’ve used a sweet Sarah Kay image, and the sentiment stamp is by Whiff of Joy.  The DP is by Fancy Pants, and all the cardstock is by Bazzill. Thank you for taking a peep, and for your lovely comments, which are always much appreciated.

Passion For Promarkers – A Recipe

This week’s challenge theme is a recipe – three shapes (not including your basic card shape), two papers and one ribbon, as chosen by the lovely Denise. Our sponsors for this challenge are Letraset, who are donating a five pack of Promarkers to our winner.

Here is my card and, as usual, you’ll find my colouring recipe underneath. I used another image from Charmed Cards and Crafts’ Pixie Chicks 1 collection, which I coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from My Mind’s Eye, cardstock by Stampin’ Up and Bazzill, and the flowers are from my stash. I swear that the ribbon on my card looked like a fetching rusty brown last night, and it was a surprise to find that it was in fact a raspberry colour in the daylight this morning – apologies for the slight clash!

Passion for Promarkers – Marine and Emerald

Emerald and Marine are the colours to use for this week’s challenge at Passion for Promarkers, and there is an added element in that you must make anything but a card!  Our sponsors this week are Yellow Moon, who are awarding our winner a gift voucher for £10 to spend in their online shop.

I decided to make a door hanger for my project. The base is made from pre-cut chipboard, which I bought on Ebay.  I painted the sides with a dark emerald acrylic paint, and covered the front and back with papers by K & Co. My image, which is a stamp designed by the very talented Elisabeth Bell, was mounted onto a scalloped oval in Bazzill ‘Swiss Dot’ cardstock and fixed to the covered door hanger.  I then added the flowers, the swirls, which were also punched out from the same Bazzill card, and the grosgrain ribbon bow. I didn’t have brads in the right shade, so I coloured the gems in the centre of the flowers with the Marine Promarker so that they would match the image and papers.  The name was printed on the computer, and mounted onto a scalloped oval punched from a Stampin’ Up punch. Please scroll down to see my Promarker colouring recipe for the image.

Passion for Promarkers – Week 13

This week’s challenge at Passion for Promarkers is to use the colours Prussian and Pumpkin, along with the ‘Halloween’ theme. Our sponsors for this week are Hot Shot Craft, who are offering our winner a £10 gift voucher to spend in their fab online store.

Here is my card, which is made with a digi download from Sandra Dry Digi Stamps.  The cobweb stamp is by Magnolia, and the papers that I’ve used are by Craft Creations and American Crafts.  The cardstock is by Bazzill, and I’ve embossed the black card with a Cuttlebug folder.  The ‘Happy Haunting’ sentiment was made on the computer, and punched out with a Stampin’ Up punch, then framed with a scalloped oval, which was also made with a punch by Stampin’ Up.  My Promarker recipe is shown under the card.

I cut the labels, oval and oval scallops with my Nestabilities dies, and the sentiment is by Whiff of Joy. Scroll down for the colouring recipe.

Passion for Promarkers – Apple and Pastel Pink

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who took the time to enter our first challenge last week.  We were overwhelmed by the fantastic response, and we enjoyed looking at all your cards.

Welcome to the second challenge at Passion for Promarkers, which is to use the colours Apple Green and Pastel Pink on your card.  The lovely Hanglar & Stanglar image was one that was given to me, and I coloured her in the required colours with my Promarkers.  I edged the oval, which I cut out with my Nesties, with a Versamark ink pad in Sage, and stamped small leaves (Art Impressions) all around with Tea Green and Olive inks.  I used papers from the Porcelain range by Basic Grey, and the pale green cardstock is by Bazzill. The flowers are by Prima, the sentiment stamp is by Stampin’ Up, and brads and ribbon are from my stash.

This week there is a fabulous prize of a Whiff of Joy stamp – Shy Willow – kindly donated by Denise, so why not join us for another fun challenge?!  We look forward to seeing your cards!
