Autumn Birthday Greetings

I adore this pretty Magnolia stamp, and it seemed perfect for making a card for an autumn birthday.  I coloured ‘Tilda with Sunflower’ with Promarkers, and distressed the white card with a brown chalk inkpad, so that it would blend well with the Basic Grey DP that I used.  I stamped some scrolls on two of the corners for extra interest, and then I matted the image onto brown cardstock.  Using the same cardstock, I punched a scalloped band with a Fiskars Threading Water border punch, and attached a piece of grosgrain ribbon to the centre of it.  I added a brown brad to each side of the band before adhering it to the card.  I attached the matted image, using 1mm foam squares, onto the scalloped band.  Finally, I fixed the Prima flowers to the card with pretty brads, and added the sentiment, which is from Hero Arts, to the bottom right of the image.
