Think Pink

I found a lovely sketch by Carole for the latest challenge at Friday Sketchers, which I thought would be fun to try.  Sue is promoting the ‘Think Pink’ campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness at the moment, as well as celebrating her 30,000 blogoversary with some pink candy – congratulations, Sue!  As my sister-in-law, Debbie, has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I thought it would be nice to combine the two challenges, and make a pink card.  This is such an important campaign, so please take a look at Sue’s blog, and maybe make a pink card too!

I used Basic Grey DP for the background and various scraps of pink-toned paper for the strips behind the image.  What could be more appropriate for this special card than one of the gorgeous Whiff of Joy Guardian Angel images, designed by the talented Elizabeth Bell? I used Promarkers to colour the image, and the pink cardstock is Bazzill Bling. The flowers, brad, and gems are from my stash.
