Beside the Seaside

We have just returned from a lovely seaside holiday in Devon, and I’m afraid I’ve rather neglected my blog.  As I’m still in a holiday mood, I rather enjoyed this week’s challenge on Tilda and Friends, which is to make a seaside themed ATC.

I used one of the new Shabby Chic Tildas in the foreground of my ATC. She’s coloured with Prisma pencils, using Sansodor and paper stumps to blend.  The background is made from torn coloured papers to give the impression of sky, sea and sand.  I added Tilda’s clouds, which are from the Spring club kit. The little boat is made from snippets of card.  I embellished the ATC with some crystal glitter on the edges of the waves, and some microbeads and real shells at the bottom of the card.

Come along and have a paddle with us at Tilda and Friends.  We would love to see your seaside ATC.
