May Celebrations

The challenge for this week on Tilda and Friends is ‘May Celebrations’.  For me, May means the start of the gardening season, and my ATC reflects the theme with a celebration of flowers.

I used a floral backing paper for my ATC. On a separate piece of light card, I stamped, watercoloured, and cut out Gardening Tilda, and attached her to the backing.  On another piece of plain ATC-sized card, I stamped some Tapestry Stamps flowers in various shades of blue and green ink, forming an arch.  I cut out the arch, and glued this to the original card, with Tilda peeping through.  Then I stamped some extra flowers on a scrap of card, cut these out, and attached them with silicone glue to the arch, giving a slightly 3D look.  Finally, I dotted the flowers with ‘Diamond’ Stickles glitter glue, and edged the ATC with an olive green chalk ink pad.
