The challenge this week on the TGIF blog is to use acetate in your project. Here is my entry, an ATC accented with stamped acetate and metal flakes.
The background is made by dabbing different coloured chalk ink pads onto the backing card. I then stamped the card randomly with a background stamp and a Versamark ink pad, and embossed with gold EP. The image is from Crafty Individuals, and the butterfly is clip art. I stamped the word ‘adore’ onto acetate, cut it to size, and ran it through my mini Xyron machine to add adhesive to the back. I sprinkled metallic flakes onto the adhesive and brushed off the excess. Lastly, I edged the ATC with a gold Krylon pen and attached the acetate to the bottom of the card with double-sided tape.
