Welcome to the Passion for Promarkers Blog Hop. I expect that you will all have got the idea by now, after visiting the other DT girls before me, but if you’ve just stumbled upon my blog and want to play then go along to the main blog at Passion for Promarkers, and the details will be there for you. There’s a super-duper prize to be won, donated by the wonderful folk at Letraset. As you may know, and you certainly will if you’re a fan of Promarkers, tomorrow sees the launch of 56 fabulous new colours. Letraset have given us a full set of the new pens to give away as our main prize! There is also some mini blog candy to be had from each of the Design Team. We will each give away one of the new pens from the set, and the card that we have made, to one lucky person who leaves a comment on our individual blogs – so leave me a line or two, and you may be in with a chance to win.
We were lucky enough to be given the new colours to use before the launch and have all enjoyed a play with them – did I say that they were FABULOUS?!
By the way, if you are waiting for my word it’s PASSION – now go along to Michele and see what she has waiting for you – you won’t be disappointed!
The colours I have used on my card are:
Skin: Almond, Soft Peach.
Hair: Putty, Tan, Caramel, Walnut.
Clothes, Hat and Shoes: Burnt Orange, Antique Pink, Ginger, Pear Green, Tan, Caramel, Walnut.
The rest: Walnut, Tan, Caramel, Putty.

This week, Caryn has given you a free choice of Promarker colours, but would like you to use the theme ‘Glittery and Girly’ for your card. So, what better excuse do you need to get out your sparkly bits and have fun with the challenge?
The Passion for Promarker Challenge is sponsored by The Secret Crafter this week, and they are offering our winner a fab prize of a set of six Promarkers.
Here is my card, and as you can see I’ve used one of the very girly Anya stamps for my image. Scroll to below the card for the colouring recipe. The DP that I used are from Crafts-Too, the flowers are by Prima, cardstock by American Crafts, and the ribbon is from my stash. Although it’s quite hard to see in the photo, I’ve added some glitzy sparkle to Miss Anya’s top and hairband, some on the flowers on the backing paper, and on the Prima hydrangea flowers. The sentiment is a stamp by Elzybells.
Promarker colouring recipe:
Hair: Vanilla, Sandstone, Raw Sienna.
Skin: Ivory, Blush, Pastel Pink.
Clothing and bags: Pastel Blue, Cornflower, Pastel Pink, Coral, Cool Aqua.

Our challenge sponsors at Passion for Promarkers this week are the wonderful folk at Letraset, who, as you know, produce the fabulous Promarkers. They are offering a prize of a set of five pens to the lucky winner.
This week’s colours were chosen by the lovely Sue, and she has given you a choice of four: Lavender, Lilac, Amethyst and Aubergine, and you must use at least two of these colours on your card. As these are also some of my favourite shades, I’m using all four!
The image is by Hanglar and Stanglar, and is coloured with Promarkers, of course! The background paper is by Paperpizzaz, and the floral one was a magazine freebie. The purple card is Bazzill Bling, and I cut the mat with a Nestabilities label set. The scalloped punches and sentiment are by Stampin’ Up, and the hydrangea flowers are by Prima. Please scroll down to see my colouring recipe.

The cardstock is by Bazzill, and I’ve embossed the black card with a Cuttlebug folder. The ‘Happy Haunting’ sentiment was made on the computer, and punched out with a Stampin’ Up punch, then framed with a scalloped oval, which was also made with a punch by Stampin’ Up. My Promarker recipe is shown under the card.

The challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week is to use the shades Cocoa and Rose Pink as the main colours on your chosen image.
Our sponsors this week are Yellow Moon/Baker Ross, who are offering a prize of a £10 gift voucher to spend on any of the craft supplies and children’s crafts at Baker Ross.
This is what our lovely DT member Debbi has to say about Baker Ross:
“This is a great place to buy crafty stuff for kids – ideal to keep them occupied during the duller or wetter days. I’ve bought loads from here, they also have a terrific selection of craft blanks e.g. wee gift boxes, pencil boxes bags etc. And I’m going to be really cheeky here and ask you all a favour – if any of you place an order at Yellow Moon, when you checkout there is a page that will ask you for a source code so that the commission on your order goes to a charity or group. As many of you know I’m the secretary/treasurer and co-founder of Extra Special Parents which is a support charity for parents and carers of children with special needs. Our source code is SSH10729 and I would really appreciate it if you could use that so that ESP receives the commission.”
Here is my card, and as usual the Promarker recipe is below the card. I have used one of the fab Leanne Ellis designed stamps by Sugar Nellie, which are available from Funky Kits. The papers are by Papermania and Basic Grey, and I’ve embossed a piece of Brown Bazzill Bling card with one of the latest Cuttlebug folders called ‘Victoria’. The sentiment, oval and scalloped oval punches are by Stampin’ Up.
Promarker recipe:
Hair: Cocoa, Burnt Sienna.
Skin: Ivory, Blush, Pastel Pink.
Dress: Rose Pink, Cocoa, Meadow Green.
Flower: Rose Pink. Meadow Green, Apple.

I think I may have been a little confuzzled about the Elzybells release date yesterday; that will teach me to blog at stupid o’clock, won’t it?! Anyway, today is the day you have all been waiting for, but I have my last card to show you before you head over to the online store to purchase all the lovely new stamps.
I’ve used the pretty Strawberry Picker image again, but this time I’ve coloured her totally with Promarkers. The gorgeous paper is by Crafts-Too, and I’ve added a border made with the watermelon stamp from the Mini Messages Summertime set. I used Nestabilities to die-cut the image, and a Fiskars border punch for the scalloped border. The flowers and brad are from my stash.
As I’ve mentioned, this is my last new release for the design team, but I’m sure that it’s not goodbye, but ‘au revoir’, as I’m sure to see you all when I’m stalking the Elzybells blog and shop! I do hope that you will still call in now and again to see what I’ve been making with my collection of Elzy stamps!

This week’s theme at Tilda and Friends is ‘Life’s a Beach’, and here is my ATC. I have used 3 Magnolia stamps, which were masked, then stamped in layers to make the little scene. The image is coloured with Promarkers, with a touch of Stickles glitter glue on Tilda’s wings and the water ripples, and I’ve added the computer-generated text to the scene. Come and join us in our challenge this week, and have some fun on the beach, despite the dreadful weather that we are having in the UK at the moment!
