Passion for Promarkers – Poppy and Moss

This week’s challenge at Passion for Promarkers is sponsored by the lovely Joanna Sheen, and she will be giving the lucky winner a voucher for £10 to spend in her online shop.

The theme, chosen by Caryn, is to use the colours Poppy and Moss, with an extra twist in that you are to add something tasty to your card mmm…

I’ve used some gorgeous Whiff of Joy stamps, all from their summer collection, on my card.  The colour recipe is shown below the card.  The papers are by K & Co and Melissa Frances.  The swirls are made with an EK Success punch, and the tiny daisies are punched out with a punch by Woodware. The lacy border punch is by Martha Stewart.

3D at Tilda and Friends

This week’s challenge at Tilda and Friends is to make your ATC with a 3D element.  Here is my effort, using an ‘oldie’ Tilda from last summer.  I’ve coloured her with Promarkers, and added a touch of glitter to her wings.  I’ve  used foam squares on the back of the image to make Tilda stand out from the background. The backing paper is DCWV, and it’s also glittered, which adds more texture to the card.  I placed a piece of torn pink handmade paper at the side, then added some flowers and alphabet beads for extra dimension.

Another Sneak Peek from Elzybells!

Elzybells sneakpeek label

Welcome to another Elzybells Sneak Peek!  The latest release is all about pampering yourself.  I’m sorry to be a day late in starting the peeks, but I honestly thought that they started today – doh!! I promise that I’ll make up for it in the next two days. The stamps will be released on Wednesday 24th, so it’s not long for all you Elzybells fans to wait.

The stamp that I used is from Elizabeth’s ‘Pamper Yourself’ range, and is coloured with Promarkers.  I’m sorry that the photo isn’t great, but I will try to take another later in the day, which will hopefully be better.

Come back for another sneak later, and don’t forget to visit Elizabeth and the other DT girls to see what they have made to show you.

Here Comes Summer!

The theme at Tilda and Friends this week is ‘Summer Fun’, and on my ATC I’ve chosen to use a sweet Hanglar & Stanglar image of a girl enjoying a picnic.  I used my Promarkers to colour her, and the backing card has been embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, then gently sanded to show off the pattern a little more. I edged the card with a dark pink ink pad to define it a little. The daisy brads are from my stash, and the text was made on the computer. Do take a moment to visit the challenge blog and the other DT members, who have some gorgeous creations to show you. The links are on my sidebar.  Thanks for looking, and for your comments, which I very much appreciate.

Tilda and Friends – Open Theme Week
